Designer outlet malls in Italy you CANNOT miss

Italy may be the home to a plethora of designers, emerging and established, but if you don’t know where to access good deals then you’re most definitely missing out. And it’s especially hard to find luxury for less if you don’t know whom to ask and where to go.

Hey guys! I’m Sai, I’m the owner and founder of Toscani Fashion House, a fashion company offering personal shopping concierge services. Being based in Italy, I’m delighted to be your trusted guide to give you access into the fabulous world of Italian luxury.

Whether you’re jet-setting to Milan or basking under the Tuscan sun, Italy’s famous designer mall scene is widespread throughout the country! So much so that you can be thirty minutes from a 70% off and you would not even come to know. You can be a seasoned shopper or a bargain hunter or even a strolling stylista… Italian designer outlets offer unparalleled shopping experiences for all. Ask me, I would know! I’ve been doing personal shopping since 2018.

If you want to set up a full day experience of a VIP Shopping Service don’t hesitate to connect with me over WhatsApp to pre-book the same 😉 This is just one of the ways/roads I will be sharing in this Blog post. You can choose to take this as an annotated itinerary, if not, I am fully confident you will find a few new gems to visit in your next trip to the country.

Also did I mention, all the touchpoints in our journey offer up to 70% off, Tax-Free shopping? Plus you also get 13% to 15% VAT refund? You’re Welcome!

Our first destination from where we start off our shopping journey is from Turin city’s Torino Outlet Village. Being just a short drive from the center, the city’s North-East wing houses over 90 brands offering outlet prices full year around. From Brooks Brothers to Blumarine and Cavalli to Converse, it’s a one stop shop for every aesthetic you style within your wardrobe.

Next stop in our route is Designer Outlet Serravalle near Milan. If you find  yourself in Milan and want to shop in the city itself then check out the previous blog post Shopping & Restaurants in Milan where I, as an Italian local, share with you where you should actually visit. Serravalle is an hour by train, if you’re in Milan itself. Aquazzura to Armani & Zegna to Zimmermann, they feature more or less all internationally loved brands. If you want to grab a quick bite, they have a lot of food stalls, stores & cafes as well, I mean come on it’s Italy, the Italians can’t not have good food everywhere!!

To reach the next location, you have to drive past a gorgeous & breezy coastal highway from Genoa to Pisa and finally going East to Florence. In Florence, we have 2 stops to check-mark. The first one being an hour and a half north from the city but very close to the highway. The Barberino Outlet is a wide-spread mall, almost like a small town that has been converted into a luxury shopping experience, but not without restaurants, bars and cafes at every corner. If you want to enjoy shopping with peaceful views and a river bustling through, then this is the stop for you!

Barberino

The Mall Firenze, more South-East to Florence, is an Outlet mall wide-spread in its layout. If you’re someone who likes to stroll more and be in the moment, then this Mall is for you!! It’s a unique experience because not only are all the brands tucked in but huge on the inside, but the whole mall doesn’t feel like a mall; it’s like going through a huge exhibition. Prada, Armani, Chloe, Balenciaga, you name it and it’s there. The Gucci cafe in The Mall Firenze is a must-visit!

The Mall

The final stop of our shopping spree ends in Rome! The Castel Romano Designer Outlet is just outside the city center. It’s a whole shopping village with all the branded designers and more within its vicinity. Again, we have restaurants and cafes at every corner. There are marvellous installations also featured, sofas in the open and lush greenery & flowers everywhere, to say the ambience is fitting for comfort, is an understatement. From OVS to Dolce & Gabbana, the outlet indulges you in a true Italian fashion scene.

Whether you’re out to have fun on the road or go on a serious shopping spree, this route is sure to engulf you into the Italian luxury experience. This is also a very tiring spree to complete in just a day or two, so as your trusted travel and shopping guide I highly suggest you take a few days to be and explore the places thoroughly. I assure you, you will definitely end up finding, if not many then definitely some, gems for your style.

Should I do more Outlet shopping destinations ? Let me know in the comments! Until then!
